Staff has complete access to all of their time off balances, accruals and history. Employees also have the ability to project future balances. When an employee requests time off, the system performs a check to ensure that they have or will have the necessary hours available. For future requests, the system calculates the employee’s future balances by taking into account future accruals and other requests to derive the accurate balance. Further, for current requests, the system ensures that no future requests by the employee have depleted the current accruals.
